london & priscilla
Got ready early hoping to catch an early bus to the train station but totally forgot that I hadn't printed out the ticket vouchers for the musical tonight. Was supposed to have done it last night...DAMNWasted time trying to get it printed. It just didn't want to work on the laser printer so finally had to use the inkjet. Got on the bus about 15 mins later and headed to the station.
Purchased the GroupSave travelcards and was quite bummed to find out we couldn't get onto the ultra fast train anymore. So we waited for the FCC one which didn't have too many stops, luckily.
Reached St Pancras International in 45 mins. Uncle was really gung-ho in showing Mum & Dad lots of places today. We headed to Knightsbridge, first stop: Harrods. Then we walked through Kensington Gardens to Hyde Park, St James Park, Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Admiralty Arch and stopped by Trafalgar Square for lunch.
We continued on to the House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, crossed the Thames river and walked along the banks to ward the London Eye and Royal Festival Hall. Had tea at the usual place, near Min's and Sharon's apartments and walked some more towards Will's office near the Tate Modern.
Left Uncle with Will and headed with Daddy Mummy to St Paul's Cathedral. More picture snapping and mind you, we did tons already today. It was around half 5 when we arranged with Min to meet up at Covent Garden.
Not knowing how to walk from that area, we opted to use the Tube >.< Bad timing too. Had a quick dinner at a nearby Malaysian cafe(food was good actually and fairly cheap) and met Uncle & Will outside the Palace Theatre for the Priscilla musical.

Seats were awfully high and were not that great but it was still an interesting experience. It was the first time I'd been to a musical after being in the UK for so long and I wonder why I didn't exactly make the effort to try them out. The last one I'd been to was ages ago for CATS with PM, Jeff, Agnes and a whole bunch of us from MMU. Will need to bring Dearie to one some day...HAHA
Loved the musical too especially the singing & dancing. It's so colourful ^^ This reminds me, must get Uncle proper glasses soon...he's just too vain(LOL)
By the time we got back to Luton, it was almost midnight. Exhausting day but TOTALLY enjoyable.
